    Duties and responsibilities

    •  Implementation of demand  web projects in the financial market
    •  Active participation, conceptual during the development process
    •  Responsibility and support of central software modules
    •  Controlling code-quality

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in computer sciences or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Excellence skills of object-oriented programming
    • Strong understanding of SQL, Ajax  and JavaScript
    • Experience with Frameworks ( Zend, Symfony)
    • Experience in current web-standards
    • Interested in modern software development methods (test-driven development, XP, Scrum)
    • Skills in programming Java (server-side)
    • Very Good English language skills, verbally and in writing
    • Dynamic, autonomous, solution oriented and capable of delivering consistent solutions in a short period of time are points fundamental to this assignment.

    Responsibilities

    • Realization of ambitious web applications for the financial services industry
    • Participation in the whole agile development process from concept to implementation
    • Taking responsibility for crucial software modules and their maintenance
    • Checking code-quality
    • Solving problems by debugging, finding inefficiencies and proposing viable solutions

     

    Requirements

    • BSc, MSc, PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
    • Extensive experience in object-related programming using PHP5
